Note to self: Promoting conspiracy theories makes me look crazy

The following is an example of a serious infraction of the Cool Broad rule regarding keeping your mouth shut unless you know what you’re talking about. In an earlier post, I specified politics…but this piece of wisdom holds true for any topic of conversation.

In this case, the recent Oscar-winning actress Marion Cotillard told a French newspaper that she believes the U.S. blew up the twin towers on September 11, because the buildings were outdated and it was cheaper to destroy them than to renovate them, and then just made up the whole terrorist thing. Not cool.

And then she questioned whether man ever walked on the moon.

When speaking, you must be well-informed and, well, rational, to be a Cool Broad.
