I hesitated in writing this post because a) I wasn’t sure I wanted anyone to know that I actually watch “The Hills” and therefore know exactly who Audrina is, and b) I wasn’t sure I wanted anyone to know that I clicked on the link to see Audrina’s naked pictures.
But, since we got those out of the way and now you know that a) I’m a reality show junkie (but dealing with those unseemly issues in therapy) and b) I wanted to see what Audrina looked like naked, I think we can move on.
Audrina’s response to her naked pics surfacing on the internet was this, “I took these photos years ago when I was just out of high school and beginning to model. I was young and very trusting of others and I didn’t know to protect myself. It is a lesson learned, for myself, and hopefully for the young girls who look up to me.”
Huh. From the looks of her photos (and from a source who was apparently involved in the photo shoot), it appears as if she was pretty damn comfortable being photographed naked, and that being young and “trusting of others” had little to do with her decision (besides the fact that these photos were intended as a Playboy audition). Now, I might be out to lunch here, but if you’re auditioning to be in Playboy…you’re okay with people seeing you naked, right?
So here’s my issue: big deal if she wanted to be in Playboy - Cool Broads don’t judge. Why doesn’t she skip the whole “poor, little naive me” and just say, “Yeah, I wanted to be in Playboy, so I took naked pics. BFD.”
If I looked that good naked, that’s what I would’ve said.

I agree, and I think it’s funny when they call their nude pictures “art.”
