ThatCoolBroad is now listed on Alltop.com, a website that collects stories from “all the top” sites on the web. They group these collections into topics such as the environment, photography, science, celebrity gossip, fashion, gaming, sports, politics, automobiles, and Macintosh, displaying the latest five stories from thirty or more sites on a single page. ThatCoolBroad is located in Life.
According to Alltop, the benefit of these aggregations is “to enhance your online reading by both displaying stories from the sites that you’re already visiting and helping you discover sites that you didn’t know existed. In this way, our goal is the ‘cessation of Internet stagnation.’”
My favorite part is that you can put your cursor over the headline you are interested in and a decent chunk of the article is displayed, without taking you to another page or site. If you decide you’d like to read the article, you click on its title. To go to the home page of the site, you click on its domain name. It’s an easy and painless way to view content from a variety of sources on one site.
Also, they’ve quite a sense of humor over there. When trying to decide which category ThatCoolBroad best fit, Guy from Alltop said to me, “I don’t have a topic for women who pull grass out of their dog’s ass. :-)”
