Mario Badescu, the famed spa that celebrities such as Jennifer Aniston and Natalie Portman have been known to patronize, offers complimentary skin consultations through its web site. You just have to fill out an online questionnaire, and in a few weeks, you’ll get free samples of products customized to your skin situation.

Upon filling out the questionnaire, I’d heard that a representative from the company may call to ask a few follow-up questions. That didn’t happen in my case, though I didn’t see the free sample offer immediately. The website recommended specific products based on my answers for purchase. I declined to purchase the recommended products, but a couple of days later I received an e-mail (in my spam folder) offering free samples of those items. I responded and a couple of weeks later I got my sample packet in the mail.

It’s a risk free opportunity to try a skin care line that you might not otherwise.
