Last summer my sister-in-law and I were talking about celebrities we find handsome and she told me that her “freebie” was Dave Matthews .
“What’s a freebie?” I asked. My brother (her husband) just rolled his eyes.
Apparently, having a “freebie” is a concept that Chandler from the TV show Friends introduced and it’s the one celebrity that your husband gives you permission to sleep with and can’t be mad at you about (I guess based on the fact that the chances of speaking to that celebrity are close to zero and if you did somehow talk that celebrity into something - with or without the use of force - your husband just couldn’t deny you the opportunity).
Well, I deserved a “freebie” just as much as the next girl, so I got to work and came up with a great one: Christian Bale. Bossy, you can have Jon Cusack but keep your hands off this one…I think I can take you (well, maybe I can take you…okay, you can have him, but please, just no videos - I’m not sure I could handle it).
Anyway, this song seems fitting for all the gals out there who have “freebies” but who in their hearts know that they will never “have” their “freebie”. (sigh)

I can relate to this song ’cause I’m crushing on the said actor.
All of us have felt this kind of feeling at one point in their lives (and not just with a celebrity crush). It’s fun to have a crazy crush, but know your limits! In general, this song speaks about how people can go crazy over celebrities. Celebrity Worship Syndrome does exist.
