Never miss a post! 
So, we’re on Hilton Head Island this week, visiting the folks, and Tropical Storm Fay just refuses to leave. Although to be honest, because it’s the end of the summer and I’m kind of over the sun, compared to the near drought conditions at home, a little wet stuff is a nice break. And even though I’m battling major frizz, I love the fact that the subtropical humidity makes my skin feels all dewey and plump (maybe why so many people retire here?).
Because there are a limited number of things that’ll keep nine high-maintenance people (and one baby) occupied in a two-bedroom condo (other than eating, drinking, watching the Olympics, and playing Apples to Apples…all of which we’ve done - to excess), we’ve been glued to the weather radar, ready to steal outside for a quick dip in the pool and maybe even a breezy bike ride when a break in the rain suddenly appears.
And then before we go to bed, we check the weather one more time to see what it’ll be like tomorrow.

I’m so over Tropical Storm Fay! Sorry that it’s raining on your vacation. It caused me to work 12 hours on Monday, and we didn’t even get rain!

Even if the rain doesn’t clear out, I hope you have had a chance to rest. There is no better sleep than a nap on a rainy afternoon!
