Today is my husband’s and my 16th wedding anniversary! Eeeks! He’s now been in my life longer than he hasn’t…and it’s hard to remember what life was like before him.
And after 16 years, two graduate degrees, three dogs, two kids, one business, and five states…he’s still my guy. And though I totally stole that from Sarah Palin, it’s true.
It seems like we’ve been through it all, though I’m well aware that we haven’t. We’ve been blessed and we’ve been dealt some challenges, and I’m sure more of both are on their way. But whatever we’re dealt in the future, I know that at the end of the day, he’ll be there (even if sometimes I yell at him for swallowing too loudly) and that I’d be completely lost without my best friend.

Good to know that I’m not the only wife out there that lets little things like “swallowing too loudly” bother me! I’m beginning to think that I might actually be normal.
